Paul, MN • 55155-40 <br />September 11, 2009 <br />Saint Anthony Village <br />Mr. Mike Mornson, City Manager <br />3301 Silver Lake Road <br />Saint Anthony, MN 55418-1699 <br />Dear Mr. Mornson: <br />Minnesota <br />aFPAATMFMOF <br />NATURAL AESaURCES <br />WATER CONSERVATION RATES, VILLAGE OF SAINT ANTHONY, RAMSEY COUNTY <br />The Department of Natural Resources has received the September 2, 2009 letter from the Village <br />of Saint Anthony that requested a one-year extension for the adoption of water conservation rates <br />by the Village. <br />Unfortunately, Minnesota Statutes 103G.291 does not give the Department of Natural Resources <br />the authority to' grant extensions to the January 1, 2010, deadline for the adoption of water <br />conservation rates. As a result, your request for a one-year extension to the deadline cannot be <br />granted. <br />The DNR Division of Waters does support the goal of cleaning up the TCAAP pollutants and <br />providing clean water to the public. We are available to assist you with the development of a <br />water conservation rate that considers the needs of the Village and meets the requirements of <br />Minnesota Statutes 103G.291. <br />Thank you for your cooperation.
