PUBLIC HEARING. <br />11 <br />12 None. <br />13 <br />14 Mayor Faust recessed the meeting at 7:04 p.m. in order for the City Council to canvas the <br />15 election results from the November 3, 2009 General Election. <br />16 <br />17 V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. <br />18 <br />19 A. Canvas Election Results from the November 3 2009 General Election. <br />20 <br />21 City Clerk Suciu provided a report on the election results from the November 3, 2009 General <br />22 Election. <br />23 <br />24 The City Council canvassed the results of the November 3, 2009 General Election. Details are <br />25 available in the November 3, 2009 Canvas Election Minutes. <br />26 <br />27 Mayor Faust reconvened the meeting at 7:07 p.m. <br />28 <br />29 VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. <br />30 <br />31 A. Presentation by Northwest Youth and Family Services. Jerry Hromatka, presenting; <br />32 <br />33 Mr. Jerry Hromatka, Northwest Youth and Family Services (NYFS), provided a presentation on <br />34 the services provided NYFS and NYFS partnerships. <br />35 <br />36 Mayor Faust commented on the good rate of return the City receives for the $3,500 contribution <br />37 to NYFS. <br />38 <br />39 Councilmember Thuesen noted that the youth employment training center is a wonderful <br />40 example of NYFS services. <br />41 <br />42 Councilmember Stille requested Mr. Hromatka to comment on NYFS' involvement with Penny <br />43 Pinchers Thrift Store. Mr. Hromatka explained that the NYFS' operation of Penny Pinchers <br />44 Thrift Store provides a wonderful, hands-on work opportunity for kids. <br />45 <br />F <br />
