ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2009-004 <br />TEXT AMENDMENT TO TITLE XV, SECTION 155 SIGNS; ALLOWING TEMPORARY <br />SIGNS TO BE POSTED DISPLAYED ON FENCES IN THE RECREATIONAL OPEN <br />SPACE ATHLETIC OIJTFJELDS <br />Section 155.29 DISTRICT SCHEDULES <br />(3) Subject to the approval of the City Council, and as a conditional use, temporary signs <br />displaying commercial, educational or philanthropic messages on walls or fences located around sports <br />fields, subject to the .following minimum conditions: <br />(1) Signs must face inward, toward the playing field; and <br />(2) Signs shall not be permitted to flash, contain any animation or internal illumination; <br />and <br />(3) Signs may net be erected within 2-5feet o€ tresi' a d tr4et the southeast quad of <br />Central Park baseball field known as Palm Field;the-cenfines-of-P-altn-Fields-as <br />designated -by -the -Cit y-niap; and <br />(4) Individual signs cannot exceed 60 square feet in surface areas and total signage not to <br />exceed 500 square feet; and <br />(5) Limited to a maximum of eight (8) signs will only be allowed on the outfield fence <br />between the foul poles of Palm Field; and <br />(6) Signs may be displayed for-up-to-six-morMi"er-ealendai--y(, • from April I" to July <br />31st. <br />These ordinance changes shall be in full force and effect upon passage by the City Council and publication of the <br />Ordinance or a Sunnnary thereof in the City's official newspaper. <br />First Reading: May 26, 2009 <br />Second Reading: <br />Adopted: <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Cleric <br />
