CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE RESOLUTION 10-022 A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON 2010 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, a report has been prepared with reference to the improvements: 2010 Street and Utility Improvements Project This project consists of street reconstruction, replacement of sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer lines, sidewalk improvements, and street lighting improvements in the following locations: 1. Street and Utility Reconstruction • Silver Lane from Silver Lake Road to 16°i Avenue SW 2. Bituminous Mill and Overlay • Old Highway 8 from Highway 88 to 33rd Avenue NE • Higherest Road from 33`d Avenue NF, to 37d' Avenue NE 3. Sidewalk and Street Lighting Improvements • Silver Lane from Stinson Boulevard to 160' Avenue SW NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, Minnesota: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street and utilities in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvements of $1,375,000. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 23`d day of March 2010, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible, and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed improvements to be published twice in the official newspaper at least one week apart and at least three days prior to the hearing.
