Berger Transfer's staffs, clientele and the general public are all encouraged to <br />attend the 100Th Year Anniversary event. <br />"Our customers and the communities we serve have helped shape the rich history of Berger <br />Transfer," states Berger CEO Bill Dircks Jr. "The 100th anniversary celebration is not only an <br />opportunity to commemorate past successes, but also an opportunity to remember the vision and <br />values that will continue with us into the future." <br />During this past 100 years Berger Transfer has serviced over one million moves throughout the <br />country. Here are a few of the more notable moves. In 1973, under the darkness of night, Berger <br />St. Paul's Office and Industrial Division relocated $5 billion to the new Minneapolis Federal <br />Reserve headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. In the early 90's, Berger Dallas warehoused and <br />transported two sections of the Berlin Wall that were on world-wide tour here in the United States. <br />In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Berger provided transportation for relief efforts to <br />the City of New Orleans.
