City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />September 28, 2010 <br />Page 4 <br />1 • The October 12, 2010, City Council meeting agenda will include a public hearing on the <br />2 transfer of the liquor license for Applebee's; this is merely a housekeeping item due to <br />3 name changes, but a public hearing is required. <br />4 <br />5 Councilmember Gray: No report. <br />6 <br />7 Councilmember Jenson: No report. <br />8 <br />9 Councilmember Roth: No report. <br />10 <br />11 Councilmember Stille reported that he participated in the September 25°i `Battle of the Badges" <br />12 softball game between the Police and Fire departments. He expressed his thanks to Police Chief <br />13 Ohl and Fire Chief Malenick for inviting him. <br />14 <br />15 Mayor Faust reminded residents that they should receive the new edition of Village Notes in their <br />16 mail this week. He stated that he recently read an article in the .Star Tribune regarding real estate <br />17 and a recent Gallup Poll regarding key attributes that make people happy in their community. <br />18 He stated that the top three were physical beauty and great open space and parks, ease with <br />19 which people can meet others, and the level of diversity, open-mindedness and acceptance in the <br />20 community. He indicated that St. Anthony is just big enough but not too small and the <br />21 relationship between the schools and the City appears seamless. <br />22 <br />23 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />24 <br />25 Mayor Faust invited residents to Borne forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />26 are not on the regular agenda. <br />27 <br />28 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />29 <br />30 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />31 <br />32 None. <br />33 <br />34 X.
