CITY OF ST ANTHONY 48 <br />RESOLUTION No. 11-054 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />ROPOSED 2012 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and Ramsey <br />Counties with a proposed 2012 certified property tax levy and operating budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed key financial issues and budgeting goals at the January, 2011, goal <br />setting session, held a Public Hearing on April 26, 2011, reviewed the 2012 property tax levy, <br />budget and the capital equipment needs at their April 4, 2011, May 2nd, 2011, May 31st, 2011 <br />and August I st, 2011, work sessions; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2012 property tax levy and general operating <br />budget at the August 9, 2011, council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current law is <br />modified; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a definitive property tax levy and budget at the Tuesday, <br />December 13, 2011, budget meeting held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The proposed collectible 2012 Property "fax Levy is: <br />General Operating Fund Property Tax Levy <br />Road Improvement Levy <br />Lease Revenue Bonds <br />Housing & Redevelopment Authority Levy <br />Tax Abatement Levy <br />PERA Rate Increase Levy <br />Total Proposed 2012 Tax Levy <br />$3,045,166.00 <br />$1,500,754.84 <br />$ 409,773.00 <br />$ 110,500.00 <br />$ 149,394.82 <br />$ 7,500.00 <br />$5,223,088.66 <br />2) The proposed 2012 General Operating Budget totals $5,498,650. <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 13th day of September, 2011 <br />City Clerk <br />Reviewed for Administration: <br />Mayor <br />Interim City Manager <br />
