The property at 2824 and 2828 Anthony Lane South is currently zoned Light Industrial and <br />was built in 1978 as a part of the original St. Anthony Office Park. The purpose of the Light Industrial <br />District is to designate areas for, and regulate the development of, light industry. Areas are designated as <br />light industrial due to the proximity of high capacity roadways or rail facilities and existing development <br />are regulated to enhance the compatibility of light industrial uses and uses within the commercial. <br />Subsection 152.141 lists the permitted uses, which are light industrial in nature and 152.142 lists permitted <br />conditional uses and these are uses that are only allowed by the approval of City Council as a conditional <br />use permit. <br />Mr. Tom Baker, KW Commercial, and the applicant are requesting a Conditional Use Permit for 2824 and <br />2828 Anthony Lane South to use the property as an assembly place for members of the Mountain of Fire <br />Miracles Ministry, a Christian denomination based in Houston, TX, as allowed by Subsection 152.142, (G), <br />with Council approval. <br />Mr. Baker reported that this group plans to use the building mostly on Sundays and some week nights. He <br />indicated that these times of use would not impact the surrounding properties as they are not generally <br />open for business on Sundays or week nights. <br />Staff has contacted the Fire Department to advise staff on any fire suppression needs for a potential <br />occupancy of up to 200 people. This number was determined based on the information provided by <br />Preliminary Furniture Plan and conversations with Mr. Baker. The Fire Department indicated that the <br />13 <br />
