He requested that City Manager Casey verify the PID #s <br />for the four Ramsey County properties that have the same PID # with four different addresses. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARING. <br />None. <br />V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. <br />None. <br />VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. <br />A. Ordinance 2012-08; Ordinance Amending Criminal Historyground for Applicants <br />for Cit} Employment and City Licenses (Second Reading). Mark Casey, City Manager, <br />presenting. <br />City Manager Casey stated this is the second reading and advised that § 32.50(A)(3) has been <br />revised to delete the reference to the City Council; in addition, § 111.002(C)(2) has been <br />amended to add "and any other licenses the city deems appropriate" and the last paragraph of that <br />section has been revised to delete the reference to the City Council. <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve Second <br />Reading of Ordinance 2012-08; Ordinance Amending Criminal History Background for <br />Applicants for City Employment and City Licenses. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />B. Ordinance 2012-09; Ordinance Amending Section 31.12; Mayor and Councilmembers <br />Salaries First Reading). Mark Casey, City Manager, presenting. <br />Mayor Faust explained this ordinance amendment increases the monthly salary of the Mayor <br />from $625 to $675, the monthly salary of the Mayor Pro Tem from $563 to $613, and the <br />monthly salary of Councilmembers from $500 to $550. He indicated the ordinance will not go <br />into effect until January 1, 2014, and noted it has been six years since these salaries were <br />adjusted. <br />Motion by Councilmember Roth, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve First Reading <br />of Ordinance 2012-09; Ordinance Amending Chapter 31.12; Mayor and Councilmembers <br />Salaries. <br />Councilmember Stille pointed out for the record that this is the first reading and there will be two <br />more readings of the amendment. <br />
