As a result of the <br />flooding, the City requested a review of the conveyance infrastructure and flood storage provided <br />in the existing drainage systems. In addition, an investigation of improvements that could be <br />pursued to reduce future flooding of the impacted areas was requested. The rainfall event has <br />been evaluated and a hydrologic/hydraulic model has been developed for the flood areas. <br />hnprovement options to reduce future flooding are also discussed and recommendations are <br />presented for each flood area. The flood areas evaluated are listed below: <br />Flood Area A: Mirror Lake Townhomes <br />Flood Area B: Silver Lane and Shamrock Drive <br />Flood Area C: 39°i Avenue and Shamrock Drive <br />Flood Area D: St. Anthony Industrial Park <br />A presentation of the Flood Report will be made at the May 22, 2012 Council Meeting.
