CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />RESOLUTION 12-058 <br />A RESOLUTION REGARDING RENEWAI, OF MUNICIPAL INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />AND THE WAIVER OF TORT LIABILITY LIMITS FOR THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA <br />CITIES INSURANCE PROGRAM. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves participation in the <br />League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) insurance program for the <br />year 2012 through 2013; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has elected to purchase liability coverage in the amount of $1,500,000.00 <br />per occurrence, as set forth in the MN Statutes 466.04, Subd. 7. <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves the <br />renewal of insurance coverage through the League of Minnesota Cities for the policy period of <br />June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013. <br />THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />hereby approves waiving of the monetary limits on tort liability established by MN statute <br />466.04, Subd. 7, to the extent of the limits of the liability coverage obtained from the LMCIT for <br />the policy period of June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013. <br />Adopted this 26th day of June, 2012. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: <br />Mayor <br />City Manager <br />23 <br />
