15 <br />CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />RESOLUTION 12-076 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2012-02, AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 152 OF THE SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE CITY CODE, <br />BEING THE ZONING AND LAND USE CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE <br />WHEREAS, on February 28, 2012, the City Council of Saint Anthony Village, a Minnesota <br />statutory city (the "City"), passed and duly adopted Ordinance No. 2012-02, <br />which amends Chapter 152 of the City Code to allow for the specific use of a <br />senior assisted living facility consisting of 72 assisted living units and up to four <br />stories. <br />WHEREAS, after the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2012-02, Autumn Woods III, LLC, <br />a Minnesota limited liability partnership (the "Developer") submitted to the City a <br />Revised Floor Plan, dated July 9, 2012. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Anthony Village does <br />hereby approve the following: <br />Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2012-02 is hereby amended and will now read as <br />follows: <br />Section 2. The specific use will be for a senior assisted living facility consisting of 73 <br />assisted living units and up to four stories. Parking for the facility will consist of 18 underground <br />stalls for residential and staff parking, 13 parking spaces on the northeast end of the facility on <br />Kenzie Terrace, and 13 parking spaces on the southwest end of the facility. Landscaping on the <br />lot will consist of a variety of perennial and shrub planting, as well as deciduous and coniferous <br />tree planting to create a residential feel and natural barriers frau adjacent buildings and homes. <br />The lot will include a monument sign at the entrance to the new facility that is exactly eight feet <br />tall with the double -sided sign comprising a total area of 47.4 square feet. This description is <br />consistent with the Site Plan, Renderings and Elevations, dated October 13, 2011, as approved by <br />the City Planning Commission on November 15, 2011; the Revised Floor Plan, dated July 9, <br />2012, as summarized in and attached to the memorandum from the City Engineer to the City <br />Council, dated July 12, 2012; and subject to the terms and conditions of the Planned Unit <br />Development Agreement to be entered into consistent with this Ordinance. <br />
