CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 13-019 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL <br />EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) AND THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS) FOR THE ST. ANTHONY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony's Fire Department applied for an Assistance <br />to Firefighters Grant through the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this grant is to provide assistance to firefighter programs to protect <br />the health and safety of the public and firefighting personnel <br />against fire and fire -related hazards; and <br />WHEREAS, FEMA and DHS awarded the St. Anthony Fire Department the <br />grant in the amount of $65,360; and <br />WHEREAS, the performance period for this grant is December 28, 2012, to <br />December 27, 2013. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village hereby accepts a Grant from the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) <br />for the St. Anthony Fire Department. <br />Adopted this 2211a day of January 201.3. <br />ATTEST: <br />Jerome O.
