1 <br />To: Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />From: Mark Casey, City Manager <br />Date: 3/12/2013 <br />The inaugural Spirit of St. Anthony Award is presented to a St. Anthony staff <br />member that displays and embodies the following characteristics on a day-to-day <br />basis: <br />S.E.R.V.I.C.E. which is an acronym for the characteristics of: <br />Supportive: Helpful, action orientated, non -bureaucratic <br />Effective: Competent, productive, skilled <br />Responsive: Dependable, accountable, customer -oriented <br />Visionary: Anticipate problems, future oriented, plan ahead <br />Innovative: Creative, inventive, knowledgeable <br />Courteous: Professional, approachable, sensitive <br />Exemplary: Ethical, honest, sound character <br />Each of these specific characteristics that the City has identified are important in <br />providing assistance to the residents and staff of our community. <br />All full time and regular year-round part-time employees with the City of St. <br />Anthony were eligible for this award.
