Request Additional Information and Continue the Public Hearing. The Applicant appears to
have provided enough information for the City Council to make a decision to approve or deny the
request. Should the City Council request additional information from the Applicant, the City
Council should continue the meeting until a later time or send this item back to the Planning
Commission for further discussion.
2. Approval (with or without conditions) of the Variance. In the event of a decision to approve
(with or without conditions), the City Council may refer to Exhibit C and may modify the draft
resolution for approval to include any conditions that it deems necessary.
3. Denial of the Variance. In the event the City Council chooses denial of the requested variance,
it should clearly state its reasons for the denial and direct staff to prepare a resolution to be
brought back at a later time.
ATTACHMENTS
Exhibit A: Location map
Exhibit B: Application and Supporting Material
Exhibit C: Resolution 13-052• a Resolution Approving a Variance to allow an Accessory
Structure in the side yard and Closer to the Principal Structure than allowed by the
Zoning Ordinance on the Property located at 2909 Silver Lake Court.
25
