CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 13-061 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN SHARED SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE AND THE CITY OF BIRCHWOOD VILLAGE <br />FOR CITY CLERK AND TREASURER RESPONSIBILITIES <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statues section 471.59 authorizes governmental units to enter into <br />intergovernlnental agreements; and. <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Village and the City of St. Birchwood Village are both <br />governmental units as defined under Minnesota Statues section 471.59; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Birchwood Village desires to enter a shared services agreement with the <br />City of St. Anthony Village for the responsibilities of City Clerk and Treasurer as <br />described in Exhibit A; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Village desires to assist the City of Birchwood Village and <br />has the ability to provide the City Clerk and Treasurer responsibilities to the extent <br />described within the agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village <br />approves a Shared Services Agreement with the City of Birchwood Village for City Clerk and <br />Treasurer responsibilities. <br />Adopted this 13th day of August, 2013. <br />ATTEST: _________ _ <br />Barbara J.
