CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 13-063 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PROPOSED 2014 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPERATING <br />BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and <br />Ramsey Counties with a proposed 2013 certified property tax levy and operating budget; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed key financial issues and budgeting goals at the April 30, 2013, <br />May 7, 2013, and August 6, 2013, work sessions and a public meeting was held on April 23, <br />2013 for input on the budget process; and <br />WHEREAS, the Road Improvement Levy will be reduced by $15,079; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2014 property tax levy and general <br />operation budget at the August 27, 2013, City Council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current <br />law is modified; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a definitive property tax levy and budget at the <br />Tuesday, December 10, 20"13, budget meeting held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The proposed collectible 2014 Property 'Tax Levy is: <br />General Operating Levy $3,123,343 <br />Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 50,000 <br />Road Improvement Levy $1,776,580 <br />Lease Revenue Bonds $ 378,462 <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 153,597 <br />Tax Abatement Levy 151,025 <br />$5,633,007 <br />2) The proposed 2014 General Operating Budget totals $6,372,211. <br />Adopted this 10th day of September, 2013. <br />ATTEST: <br />Jerome O.
