ANTHONY <br />2 CThY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 NOVEMBER 26, 2013 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL... <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Roth and Stille. <br />16 Absent: Nate. <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Fire Chief John Malenick, Fire Marshal Chris Fuller, <br />18 Police Chief John Ohl, and City Engineer Todd Hubmer. <br />19 Guest: Ramsey County Sheriff Matt Bostrom. <br />20 <br />21 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON AL.I, OF THE FOLLOWING <br />22 ITEMS. <br />23 <br />24 I. APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 26, 2013, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />25 <br />26 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />27 Council Meeting Agenda of November 26, 2013. <br />28 <br />29 Motion carried unanimously. <br />30 <br />31 11. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />32 <br />33 A. 2013 Fire Prevention Poster Contest Winners. Fire Chief John Malenick presenting. <br />34 <br />35 Fire Chief Malenick stated the annual fire prevention poster contest is one part of the City's fire <br />36 prevention program and congratulated this year's poster contest winners. He then introduced <br />37 Captain Chris Fuller, Fire Marshall, who is in charge of the program. <br />38 <br />39 Fire Marshall Fuller stated this year's contest theme was preventing kitchen fires and they <br />40 received 250 posters. He stated the students did outstanding work on their posters and it was <br />41 difficult to pick four winners. He presented the poster contest winners with a plaque and <br />42 congratulated Peri Orstadius (fourth place), Lola Vanner (third place), Ajla Cerimovic (second <br />43 place), and Ella Bergquist (first place). IIe also thanked all the students for making posters. <br />44 <br />45 Mayor Faust expressed the City Council's congratulations to the fire prevention poster contest <br />46 winners and stated the community is proud of them. <br />47 <br />48 111.
