6 City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />January 28, 2014 <br />Page 6 <br />1 VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />2 <br />3 City Manager Casey expressed the City's thanks to Rice Creek Watershed District, Three Rivers <br />4 Park District, the Ramsey County Conservation District, and the cities of New Brighton and <br />5 Columbia Heights for partnering with the City on the carp removal project. He also thanked the <br />6 Police Department for participating in the annual "Cops versus Kids" basketball event. <br />7 <br />8 Mayor Faust extended the City Council's thanks and appreciation to the Police Department for <br />9 donating their time to the "Cops versus Kids" basketball event. <br />10 <br />11 Councilmember Stille reported on his attendance at the January 23-24 goal setting session and <br />12 thanked City Mauager Casey for all his work on this meeting. <br />13 <br />14 Councilmember Gray reported on his attendance at the January 23-24 goal setting session and <br />15 thanked City Manager Casey and City staff, along with the Planning Commission and Parks <br />16 Commission for participating in this important meeting. <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />36 <br />37 <br />38 <br />39 <br />40 <br />41 <br />42 <br />43 <br />44 <br />Council member Jenson reported on his attendance at the January 23-24 goal setting session. He <br />stated that the St. Anthony History Committee's book on WW II stories is complete and will be <br />sold for $17.95 plus tax. He reported that he will be participating in strategic planning meetings <br />with District #282 in February. <br />Council member Roth _. no report. <br />Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the January 15 1h MWMO retreat. He also reported on <br />his attendance at the January 21 st Chamber of Commerce lunch. He also reported on his <br />attendance at the January 23-24 goal setting session and thanked the City Council, Planning <br />Commissioners, and Parks Commissioners who took time off work to attend this session. <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />are not on the regular agenda. Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS -NONE. <br />X.
