CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA
May 13, 2014
7:00 p.m.
Call to Order.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call.
Consideration, discussion, and possible action on all of the following items:
Approval of the May 13, 2014, City Council Meeting Agenda. (action requested.)
Proclamations and Recognitions.
A. Resolution 14-029; Accepting a Donation from Mr. Roy Quady to the St. Anthony Police department. John
Ohl, St. Anthony Police Chief and Mr. Roy Quady, St. Anthony resident will be presenting.
B. Announcement of the Chamber's Village of the Year and Business of the Year. Wendy Webster will be
presenting.
III. Consent Agenda.
These items are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember or
citizen so requests, in which the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed elsewhere on the agenda.
A. Approval of April 22, 2014, Council Meeting Minutes.
B. Licenses and Permits.
C. Claims.
D. Resolution 14-030; Amending the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on November 11, 2014 to
November 10, 2014, in observance of the Veteran's Day holiday.
IV. Public Hearing. None.
V. Reports from Commission and Staff.
A. Resolution 14-031; Approving a variance from the required corner side yard (front yard) setback in order
to construct a partial second story addition and front stoop 15 -feet from the property line along the
north side of the property located at 3111 Wilson Street. Erica Crone, Planning Commissioner will be
presenting.
VI. General Business of Council.
A. St. Charles 75th Anniversary Celebration 5K Run/Walk. Louise Louiselle, St. Anthony resident will be
presenting. (motion to approve)
B. Resolution 14-032; a Resolution Accepting and approving the funds from Hennepin County
Transportation Department for the In Pavement LED Pedestrian Crossing at Kenzie Terrace. Todd
Hubmer, WSB & Associates will be presenting.
C. Resolution 14-033; Accepting the Kenzie Terrace In Pavement LED Pedestrian Crossing Project Plans and
Specifications and Authorizing Solicitation of Quotes. Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates will be
presenting.
D. St. Anthony Police Reserve's Program Overview. Sergeant Jeff Spiess will be presenting.

VII. Reports from City Manager and Council members.
VIII. Community Forum.
Individuals may address the City Council about any item not included on the regular agenda. Speakers are requested to came to the podium, sign their
name and address on the form at the podium, state their name and address for the Clerk's record, and limit their remarks to five minutes. Generally,
the City Council will not take official action on items discussed at this time, but may typically refer the matter to staff for a future report or direct the
matter to be scheduled on an upcoming agenda.
