RESOLUTION 13-019
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) AND THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS) FOR THE ST. ANTHONY FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony's Fire Department applied for an Assistance
to Firefighters Grant through the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS);
and
WHEREAS, this grant is to provide assistance to firefighter programs to protect
the health and safety of the public and firefighting personnel
against fire and fire -related hazards; and
WHEREAS, FEMA and DHS awarded the St. Anthony Fire Department the
grant in the amount of $65,360; and
WHEREAS, the performance period for this grant is December 28, 2012, to
December 27, 2013.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St.
Anthony Village hereby accepts a Grant from the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
for the St. Anthony Fire Department.
