RESOLUTION 13-085
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY'S 2014 GENERAL
OPERATING BUDGET AND PROPERTY TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires the City of St. Anthony Village provide
Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a 2014 certified operating budget and
property tax levy; and
WHEREAS, the City Council discussed key financial issues and budgeting goals at the
January, 2013, goal setting session, held a Public Hearing on April 23, 2013,
reviewed the 2014 property tax levy, budget and capital equipment needs at
their April 30, 2013 and August 5, 2013, work sessions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the 2014 operating budget, property tax
levy at its August 27, 2013, council meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held the required preliminary budget meeting on
September 10, 2613; and
WHEREAS, The City Council held the required budget meeting on December 10, 2013,
7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers, to discuss the 2014 operating budget and
property tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony Village; and
WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to determine a definitive 2014
property tax levy has been collected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1) The 2014 General Operating Budget totals $6,236,200
2) The collectible 2014 Property Tax Levy is:
General Operating Fund Property Tax Levy $3,143,513
Capital Improvement Project $ 50,000
Road Improvement Levy $1,776,580
Lease Revenue Bonds $ 378,462
Housing & Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 133,427
Tax Abatement Levy 151,025
Total 2014 Tax Levy $5,633,007
