RESOLUTION 14-054
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR POLICE
SERVICES WITH THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE FOR THE PERIOD OF 2015
THROUGH 2019 AND AUTHORIZES THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Village (St. Anthony) and the City of Lauderdale
(Lauderdale) originated a contractual agreement whereby the City of St.
Anthony Village agreed to provide police services to the City of
Lauderdale for the period 2007 through 2009; and
WHEREAS St. Anthony and Lauderdale negotiated and renewed the contractual
agreement for police services for the period of 2010 through 2013; and
WHEREAS, St. Anthony and Lauderdale negotiated and renewed the contractual
agreement for police services for the year 2014; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lauderdale desires to continue the contract for Police Services
with the City of St. Anthony Village and a new long term contract has
been negotiated for the period of 2015 through 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
Village hereby approves the contract agreement for police services with the City of
Lauderdale for the period of 2015 through 2019 and authorizes the Mayor and City
Manager to execute said agreement.
