RESOLUTION 14-065
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MINNEAPOLIS AND THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
WHEREAS, Minneapolis sells utility services, such as water or sanitary sewer to St. Anthony
residents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Minneapolis wishes to provide additional remedies for the collection
of charges from customers who live in St. Anthony, but receive one or more
utility services from the City of Minneapolis; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes §471.59 authorizes two or more governmental units of enter
into agreements to jointly or cooperatively exercise any power common to the
contracting parties or any similar power
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village
hereby authorizes a Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Minneapolis and the City of
St. Anthony.
