Present at roll call: Miedtke, Stauffer, Sauer Absent: Haik, Sundland Also present: Lekson, Fornell Mayor Miedtke reviewed the recommendation of the City Assessor concerning properties which were reappraised. The Assessor found that upon reappraisal, all of the valuations increased; however, to keep the valuations equitable, he recommended that no change be made to the original 1976 appraisal. Mr. Lenezuk of 3112 Roosevelt Street challenged the competence of the City Assessor. Mrs. Gray of 2508 33rd Avenue N.E. was concerned about rising taxes and felt her valuation was too high for a vacant lot. The Mayor explained the valuation procedure and said that all properties were reappraised at a higher valuation but that the City Assessor recommended no change.
