ANTHONY VILLAGE STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 15-018 A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING FOR THE 2015 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village, a report has been prepared with reference to the improvements: Street & Utility Reconstruction • 36th Avenue NE from Silver Lake Road to Hi crest Road ■ Chelmsford Road from 36th Avenue NE to 37 Avenue NE Bituminous Mill & Overlay ■ St. Anthony Boulevard from Ridgeway Parkway to the bridge crossing the Minneapolis Diagonal Trail Alleyway Surface and Drainage Improvements ■ Alleyway bound by Silver Lake Road (east), 29th Avenue NE (north), Coolidge Street (west), and St. Anthony Boulevard (south) Backyard Drainage Improvements • Backyard area of homes located between Belden Drive, 34th Avenue NE, and Edward Street LED Pedestrian Crossing hnprovements • Intersection of Kenzie Terrace and 27th Avenue NE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street and utilities in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvements of $2,806,000. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 10'hh day of March 2015, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible, and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed improvements to be published twice in the official newspaper at least one week apart and at least three days prior to the hearing.
