RESOLUTION 15 -052
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
FOR THE EAST METRO SWAT TEAM
WHEREAS, The East Metro SWAT Team provides specialized police services for its members in critical
emergency situations; and
WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony has been a part of the East Metro SWAT since 2002; and
WHEREAS, Currently, The East Metro SWAT is comprised of the police departments from Roseville,
St. Anthony, North St. Paul, The University of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Metro Transit wishes to join the East Metro SWAT as a member; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the City of St. Anthony to
remain a member of the East Metro SWAT and execute Joint Powers Agreement.
