2 HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES

4 I. CALL TO ORDER.
5 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Cavanaugh at 7:31 p.m.
6 II. ROLL CALL.
7 Commissioners present: Chairman Cavanaugh, Commissioners Sparks, Thuesen and Horst.
8 Commissioners absent: Commissioner Hodson.
9 Also present: Executive Director Michael Morrison.
10 M. APPROVAL OF APRIL 24, 2001 H.R.A�AGENDA.
I I Motion by Commissioner Thuesen to approve the April 24, 2001 Housing Redevelopment
12 Authority Agenda as presented.
13 Motion carried unanimously.
•14 IV. CONSENT AGENDA.
15 Motion by Commissioner Horst to approve the Consent Agenda, which consisted of:
16 A. HRA Meeting Minutes of April 24.2001: and
17 B. Claims,
18 Motion carried unanimously.
19 V. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE H.R.A.
20 None.
21 VI. STAFF REPORTS.
22 Executive Director Michael Mornson stated that there have been some requests for some of the
23 vacant land at Kenzie Terrace, as well as requests for the purchase of the Custom Liquidators
24 Building. He indicated that Ehlers and Associates. are looking at some of the interested parties.
25 Mornson indicated that there may be a major redevelopment for the whole area coming soon.
26 Commissioner Horst suggested that the potential of the area be discussed at an upcoming City
27 Council Study Session.
28 VII. H.R.A. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS.
