CALL TO ORDER. 5 The meeting was called to order at 8:08 p.m. 6 II. ROLL CALL. 7 Commissioners present: Chair Ranallo, Commissioners Marks, Faust, Thuesen and 8 Cavanaugh. 9 Commissioners absent: None. 10 Also present: Executive Director Mike Momson. 11 111. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 14, 1999 H.R.A. AGENDA. 12 Motion by Marks, second by Faust, to approve the September 14, 1999 H.R.A. Meeting Agenda 13 as presented. 14 Motion carried unanimously. 15 IV. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 10, 1999 H.R.A. MINUTES. 16 Motion by Marks, second by Faust, to approve the August 10, 1999 H.R.A. Minutes as 41 presented. 18 Voting on the motion: Cavanaugh, Marks, Faust and Thuesen voted aye. Ranallo abstained due 19 to absence at the August 10, 1999 meeting. 20 The motion carried. 21 V. CLAIMS. 22 Motion by Marks, second by Thuesen, to approve Claims A-E below: 23 A. Salvation Army: 24 1. The Appraisal Bureau in the amount of $4,000.00 pursuant to invoice dated 25 August 30, 1999 regarding Primary Research and Analysis to Estimate Value 26 Range. 27 B. Agent Fees: 28 1. Firstar Bank in the amount of $168.38 for billing period February 1, 1999 through 29 July 31, 1999 regarding 94A Tax Inc. Refunding Bonds. 30 2. Firstar Bank in the amount of $193.38 for billing period August 1, 1998 through 31 July 31, 1999 regarding 95B Tax Inc. Bonds. 32 C. 2542 Kenzie Terrace: 33 1. Hennepin County in the amount of $505.48 regarding the second half of property 34 taxes due for 2542 Kenzie Terrace. 2. Minne ag sco in the amount of $7.84 pursuant to invoice dated August 16, 1999 46 regarding 2542 Kenzie Terrace NE. Housing and Redevelopment Authority Meeting Minutes September 14, 1999 • Page 2 1 3. Land Recycline Service, Inc. in the amount of $11,250.00 pursuant to invoice 2 dated August 10, 1999 regarding demolition of 2542 Kenzie Terrace, 3 D. Tires Plus: 4 1. Ramsey County in the amount of $7,663.83 regarding the second -half of property 5 taxes for the property known as Tires Plus. 6 E. St. Anthony Shopping Center: 7 1. RLK Kuusisto, Ltd. in the amount of $2,397.55 for the invoice period of July 8 1999 regarding professional services rendered in connection with St. Anthony 9 Shopping Center. 10 Motion carried unanimously, I I VI. OTHER BUSINESS. 12 Executive Director Mike Momson stated that he is currently in negotiations for the last property 13 at Kenzie Terrace and is anticipating an answer by the owner by the October 5, 1999 Council 14 Work Session. This would be a successful conclusion to the purchase of five homes of which the 15 City has remarkably accomplished in a three-year period as opposed to the originally anticipated 16 five-year period.
