a. Discussion of whether to repair hockey rink or resuricace
tennis courts. Two courts are in need of resurfacing an.-3
there is a sink hole in one of the courts resurfaced last
•
year. The hockey rink has rotted and slanted boards . It
may be advantageous to contact civic and sports grips in
the city regarding their financing the boards.
9 . Communications . & Petitions
a. Notice of Hearing-Metropolitan Council. The hearing is
on review criteria of proposed matters of metropolitan
significance.
b. Association of Metropolitan Municipalities Dues Statement
c. Hennepin County re: CSAH 93 Silver Lake Road to E. County
Line, concerning intersection design and storm sewer cost
participation.
d.. National League of Cities Policy Leaders Program.
Reservations should be mace promptly if you wish to attend.
e. Petition re: Alley light between 2501 and. 2505 Pahl
Avenue. (The alley between Pahl and St. Anthony Blvd. ) In
the past, the City has not paid for alley lights . If we pay
for this one, we may have to reimburse people for previously
installed alley lights and have to pay for future requests.
Also, we should complete our street lighting program.
10 . Reports
a. Water Report. The Public Works Department is providing
not only top quality water but plenty of it-we have been
able to meet the water demand during the past dry period.
No sprinkler ban is forseen.
