A. Ordinance 1980-001 - An Ordinance Relating to Fire Prevention;
Adopting the Minnesota Uniform Fire Code; Adding Certain- Fire -
Prevention Provisions;. and Repealing Sections 320 , 321, ,:40 ,
and 4.20 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances. A few modifications
have been made. State Fire Marshal- to discuss ramifications
of the ordinance.
ACTION: Recommend approval of second reading.
B. Resolution 80-0.13 - A Resolution Relating to the Apportionment
of Special Assessments for Local Improvements.
ACTION: Recommend approval.
C. Resolution 80-014 - A Resolution Ratifying the Master Agreement
—between the City of St. Anthony and International Union of
Operating Engineers-, Local No. 49 , Representing the St. Anthony
Public Works Unit.

D. Resolution -80-015 -A Resolution Supporting a Change In
. 'Minnesota Statutes 275.50 , Subdivision 5 (n) (Form 280 ,

E.. Resolution 80=016 - A Resolution Supporting the A.M.M./L.M.C.
Bill to Index the Levy Base Increase.
ACTION: Recommend approval.
8. Old Business
A. Skycroft Drive Traffic Study. Mr. Arnold Ulvig, of BRW, Inc. ,
is to present the study.
ACTION: I *concur with Mr. Hamer-' s recommendation to discuss
the problem with I .S .D. #282 .
B Community Development
ACTION: Council.

C. Foss .Road Lift Station Study.
ACTION: Recommend tabling indefinitely.
• D. C.D.B.G. Application. Nemo from Ron Berg.
ACTION:. Recommend modifying per additional funding.
E. Street Reconstruction Program. The consultant is unable
to attend the February 12 meeting. A report on the concrete
streets is forthcoming.
ACTION: Schedule date to review the report.
9. New Business
A. Recycling Center. Memos. from Larry Hamer.
ACTION: Recommend -discontinuing the Center, except for
newspaper. recycling, effective February 29 , 1980 ,
and post such intent immediately.
B. Shade Tree Disease Program
ACTION: I concur with Mr.- Hamer's recommendation.
10. Communications/Petitions
A. Bus Shelter.-Request Berton Tooker. With our cost being
only ten percent and probable. greater dependence on mass
•
transit -In the future, I recommend we request a shelter .

• ACTION: Recommend rejecting any more sidewalks, other than
39th Avenue N.E. , due to maintenance costs.
