Ordinance -1980-001 - An Ordinance Relating to Fire Prevention; Adopting the Minnesota Uniform Fire Code; Adding Certain Fire Prevention Provisions; and Repealing -Sections 320, 321 , 340, and 420 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances. I will have a couple proposed modifications. ACTION: Amend, as necessary, and adopt B. Ordinance 1980-003 An Ordinance .Relating .to-Sewer Rates and Charges, Amending Section '540 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances. Memos from staff. ACTION: -Review cost distribution and direct City Attorney to prepare ordinance C. Resolution 80-022 - A Resolution Eliminating the Position of Fire Motor Operator from the Organizational Structure of the St. Anthony Fire Department. ACTION: Recommend approval D. - Resolution 80-023 - A Resolution Providing for. Necessary Accounting Transfer to Provide for Water Filtration Plant • Valves. Report on bids. ACTION: Recommend approval of resolution; purchase of valves 1+ -2- • E. Resolution 80-024 - A Resolution Commending Donna Stauffer for Her Service on the Chemical Abuse Information Committee. e� ACTION: Recommend approval ' 8. Old Business A. -City Hall. Memo enclosed. ACTION: Recommend scheduling work session with x Mr. Gary Ashley to consider the audit and possible supplemental inspections. 9 . New Business A. Youth Employment Work Projects - L. Hamer ACTION: I recommend their involvement in the mini-park north of- Park View-, - subject to an acceptable agreement. If the Council wants to reconsider the Holding Pond project; I suggest a public hear- ing and/or resident involvement in the planning. 10 . Communications/Petitions • A. Letter from: Bill Soth,- Re: Intergraphics, Inc. ACTION_: Recommend no further action be taken if tenant evacuates.- by the specified date. B. Letters from Ruth Welch, Re: Carnival. Ordinance 51C regulates carnivals. Issuance of the license is sub- -1 -ject to the Council ' s discretion and conditions. ACTION.: If reasonable safeguards are to be taken . - I recommend approval of the license. The $450 fee includes a $2.50 clean-up deposit and a $200 license fee. 11. Reports A.
