BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 22, 1997
4 I. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL.
5 The meeting was reconvened at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Ranallo.
6 II. ROLL CALL.
7 Councilmembers Present: Ranallo, Marks, Enrooth, Wagner, and Faust.
8 Also Present: Michael Morrison, City Manager and Carrie Luther, Hennepin County
9 Appraiser.
10 III.. RESULTS OF REVIEWS REQUESTED AT APRIL 8, 1997 BOARD OF REVIEW
11 MEETING.
12 Carrie Luther, Hennepin County Appraiser, explained the results of the reappraisals requested
13 by residents at the April 8, 1997 Board of Review Meeting.
14 Jeff Amundsen, 3316 Croft Drive: Original valuation was $147,000. After reappraisal of the
15 property, Ms. Luther recommended that no change be made to valuation.
16 Ralph Amundsen, 3424 Highcrest Road: Original valuation was $109,000. After reappraisal
17 of the property, Ms. Luther recommended that the valuation be reduced to $100,000. She
4wstated this was due to severe cracks in the foundation and structural problems.
19 Gary Danyo, 3540 Edward St. N.E.: Original valuation was $129,000. After reappraisal of
20 the property, Ms. Luther recommended the valuation be reduced to $124,000. She stated this
21 was due to the uniqueness of the property and that it was only a one bedroom home with an
22 unfinished lower level.
23 Richard Talbot, 3128 Wilson Street N.E.: Original valuation was $99,000. After reappraisal
24 of the property, Ms. Luther recommended the valuation be reduced to $95,000. She stated
25 this was due to the water problems on this property.
26 Peter Osipenko, 3417 Edward St. N.E.: Original valuation $132,000. After reappraisal of the
27 property, Ms. Luther recommended no change be made to the valuation.
28 Motion by Faust, second by Marks to accept the reappraisal of the above stated properties as
29 presented by the Hennepin County Assessors Office.
30 Motion carried unanimously.
31 Ms. Luther reported that all of the above property owners had been contacted and made aware
32 of the results of the reappraisals. As the Council has accepted the reappraisal amounts and
33 the property owners did not appear this evening to object to the results, they will be notified
0 by mail.

1 Mayor Ranallo stated he had spoken with two of the property owners and they were pleased
2 with the results.
3 IV. ADJOURNMENT.
4 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 P.M.
5 Motion carried unanimously.
