OF TRUTH IN TAXATION ADOPTION MEETING
4 DECEMBER 17, 1997
5 I. CALL TO ORDER.
6 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. following the Pledge of Allegiance led by
7 Mayor Ranallo.
8 II. ROLL CALL.
9 Councilmembers Present: Ranallo, Marks, Enrooth, Wagner, and Faust.
10 Also Present: City Manager Michael Mornson, Police Chief Richard Engstrom, Liquor
11 Operations Manager Michael Larson, and City Attorney William Soth.

13 III. OPEN HEARING TO SET 1998 TAX LEVY AND ADOPT 1998 BUDGET.
14 Mayor Ranallo declared the public hearing open at 7:31 P.M.
15 IV. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 3, 1997 TRUTH IN TAXATION PUBLIC HEARING
16 MEETING MINUTES.
17 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve the December 3, 1997 Truth in Taxation
1:8 Public Hearing Meeting Minutes as presented.
Motion carried unanimously.

21 V. RESOLUTION 97-058. RE: ADOPTION OF 1998 TAX LEVY AND 1998 CITY
22 BUDGET.
23 Mayor Ranallo asked if there was any new business in regard to this issue. Nothing was
24 brought forward.

26 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve Resolution 97-058, certifying the City of St.
27 Anthony 1998 Tax Levy in the amount of$1,756,391 and Budget in the amount of
28 $5,869,750 in compliance with the Truth in Taxation Act.
29 Motion carried unanimously.
30 VI. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING.
31 Mayor Ranallo declared the public hearing closed at 7:32 P.M.
32 VII. ADJOURNMENT.
33 Motion by Enrooth, second by Faust to adjourn the meeting at 7:33 P.M.
34 Motion carried unanimously.
