6 Mayor Cavanaugh called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
7 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.
8 Mayor Cavanaugh invited the Council and the audience to join in the Pledge of Allegiance.
9 III. ROLL CALL.
10 Councilmembers present: Mayor Cavanaugh; Councilmembers Sparks, Thuesen, Horst and
11 Hodson
12 Councilmembers absent: None.
13 Also present: City Manager Michael Mornson
14 IV. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 11, 2000 TRUTH IN TAXATION PUBLIC HEARING
15 MINUTES.
16 Motion by Hodson to approve the December 11., 2000 Truth in Taxation Public Hearing Minutes.
�17 Motion carried unanimously.
tV. RESOLUTION 00-098, RE: ADOPTION OF 2001 TAX LEVY AND 2001 CITY
19 BUDGET.
20 Motion by Sparks to adopt Resolution 00-098, a Resolution Certifying the City of St. Anthony
21 2001 Tax Levy and Budget in Compliance with the Truth in Taxation Act, wherein it was
22 resolved that:
23 1) The 2001 Property tax levy is:
24 Property Tax Levy $2,112,768
25 Less: H.A.C.A. ( 349,293)
26 Total General Fund Levy: $1,763,475

28 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000
29 Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,597)
30 Total Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,403
31 Special Assessment/Road Improvements $ 272,189
32 Total 2001 Tax Levy $2,051,067
33 2) The 2001 Total Operating Budget totals $7,138,175
