A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE INSTALLATION
OF PROPER CURBING AT CROSSWALKS IN THE
AREA OF KENZIE TERRACE, ST. ANTHONY BLVD.
AND. SILVER LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, MS 471. 464 requires that all new sidewalks installed
must at corners have curbs that allow handicapped persons and others
with special problems to make the transition from the sidewalk to the
street and;
. WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Highways when improving TH 8
and abutting roads in .the City of St. Anthony did not comply with
MS 471. 464;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of St. Anthony does hereby request that the MHD make the necessary
revisions in the intersections of TH 8 and St. Anthony Boulevard and
in the intersection of St. Anthony Boulevard, Kenzie Terrace and Silver
Lake Road to comply with standard Plate No. 7036A approved by the
Commissioner of Highways on September 2 , 1969 .
