RESOLUTION 80-016
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE A.M.M./L.M.C.
BILL TO INDEX THE LEVY-BASE INCREASE.
WHEREAS, the cost of providing municipal services is increasing
at approximately the rate of inflation,
WHEREAS,. the present levy limit base increase of six percent per
year is deemed inadequate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Anthony City Council
hereby supports the L.M.C./A.M.M. bill to index the levy base
increase.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to send a
copy of this resolution to-the City' s Senators and Representatives.
Adopted this 12th day of February, 1980 .
