RESOLUTION 80-058
A RESOLUTION REGULATING THE- USE OF LIQUORS,
INCLUDING NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR
(3 . 2 BEER) , IN CITY PARKS
Whereas, the City Council receives requests for permits to consume
alcoholic beverages in City Parks,
Whereas, such consumption is permitted under Code. _of Ordinances
Sec. 220 : 05, Subd. 14. by Council permit only,
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that., any permit for the use of.
liquors, including non-intoxicating malt liquor shall be subject to
the following procedures and regulations :
1. Applications must be in writing and on such forms as .the
City may provide.
2. Applicants must be at .least 19 years -of age.
3. Applicants must either reside or work -in St. Anthony.
4. A cash deposit of $50.00 must be .made with. the City Clerk
to guarantee clean-up- which may be. forfeited if clean-up
is not- done in a satisfactory manner.
• 5. The permit is for consumption by the applicant and bonafide
members of his/her group. The permit does not allow the
sale or gift of liquor to other persons .
6. The applicant is responsible for the conduct of his group..
7 . Requests for a permitmust be made at least two weeks prior
to the requested date.
8 . The use of park facilities is to be coordinated through the
Community Services Department of I .S.D. 282 .
9. The City Council reserves the right to refuse, suspend,
modify or add conditions .to any permit.
