A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE SECTION 8
HOUSING ASSISTANCE CONTRACT .BETWEEN THE
METROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
WHEREAS , the City of St. Anthony participates, with the Department of
Housing and Urban Development and the Metropolitan Council , in the
Section 8 rent assistance program in accordance with Contract No.
SG-80-27. which they entered into on January 1 , 1979 ; and
WHEREAS , the aforementioned contract . provides for reimbursement to
the City for expenses incurred; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an amendment of the afore-
mentioned contract which would increase the reimbursement to the
City; and
WHEREAS, except as amended, the provisions of the aforementioned
contract shall remain in force and effect without change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that. the City Council of the City of
St. Anthony_ authorizes the -Mayor.-arid- City Manager- to sign and -.execute .
Amendment One -o� -Cohtract -No. ,SG-80-2-7.

AMENDMENT ONE

SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
METROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF ST . ANTHONY
The parties hereto agree that the contract which -they entered into
on January 1, 157.9 relating to the establishment of a
Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program within the City shall
be and is hereby amended in- the following particulars :
Section 3 .A. is hereby amended to read as follows :
A. Maximum Payment . The Council agrees to- pay the actual costs
incurred by the City in furnishing the services specified herein
which are reimbursable to the Council by HUD, provided that the .
total Council .payment to a City shall not exceed :
1) One Hundred dollars ($100) per month for cities with ten (10)
or less housing units per month under contract to receive
assistance payments from the Council , during the period for
which reimbursement is provided, or
a
2) Ten dollars ($10) per unit per month for cities with more
than ten (10) housing units under contract to receive assistance
- payments from the Council , during the period for which reim-
bursement is provided..
This amendment shall be effective as of May 1 , 1980.
Except as amended hereby, the provisions of the above-referenced
'contract shall remain in force and in effect without change.
