RESOLUTION 82-041
A RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES
ON BOTH SIDES :OF SILVER .LAKE ROAD FROM- 500 FEET SOUTH
OF 37TH AVENUE N.E. TO. SAULT ST. MARIE
RAILROAD .TRACKS AT ALL TIMES
WHEREAS , . the County- has planned the improvement .of County Road D
from Silver Lake Road toI-35W; and
WHEREAS , . the . County will be expending' Federal Aid Urban funds on the
improvement of said street; and
WHEREAS , said improvement does not conform to the approved minimum
standards as. previously adopted- for such County State Aid streets and
that approval of 'the proposed construction as a County State Aid
street project must, therefore, be conditioned upon- certain parking
restrictions; and
WHEREAS , the .extent of these restrictions that would be a necessary
prerequisite to the approval of this construction as a Federal Aid
Urban project in the City , has been -determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City requests the County to
restrict the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of Silver Lake
• Road from 500 feet south of 37th Avenue Northeast to Sault St. Marie .
railroad tracks , at all times .
