• COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS , . the Metropolitan Land Planning Act requires local governmental
units to prepare comprehensive .plans and submit them to the Metro-
politan Council; and
WHEREAS , the plan entitled City of St. Anthony Comprehensive Plan,
represents the response to City of St. Anthony to the requirements
of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and
WHEREAS , this plan was adopted by the City '.of St. Anthony Planning
Commission on June 3 , 1980 following public hearings with required
_ _ legal notice; and
WHEREAS ,- this plan was sent to the Cities of Columbia Heights , New
Brighton, Roseville, Minneapolis and. the Counties of Anoka, Ramsey
and Hennepin, and School District .282 , and to the Metropolitan Council
for review and comment on January 10 , 1980 ; and
WHEREAS , this plan was considered and accepted, but not adopted, by
the St. Anthony City Council on July 22 , 1980; and
WHEREAS , the plan. was transmitted .to the Cities of Columbia Heights ,
New Brighton, Roseville, Minneapolis and the Counties of Anoka,
• Ramsey and Hennepin, and School District . 282 , and to the Metropolitan
Council concurrently .with submission to the 'Metropolitan Council for
formal review under the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and
WHEREAS, on June 11,. 1981, the Metropolitan Council considered the
St. Anthony Comprehensive Plan and adopted Resolution No. 81-120 which
provided for adoption of the Plan and contained certain recommendations
to the City; and
WHEREAS , the City of St. Anthony has responded. to the recommendations
of the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
St. Anthony hereby adopts the Plan titled City of St. Anthony
Comprehensive Plan.
