RESOLUTION 84-024
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HOMESTEAD PROPERTIES DAMAGED
BY THE APRIL 26 , 1984 STORM BE REASSESSED
FOR PURPOSE OF SPECIAL TAX CREDIT
WHEREAS , a severe storm did .pass through .the City of St. Anthony
on April 26 , 1984; and
WHEREAS, said storm did cause extensive property damage to residential
properties in the City of St. Anthony; and
WHEREAS-, the St. Anthony City Council has declared a state. of emer-
gency due to the damage --caused by said storm;- and
WHEREAS , Minnesota 'State Statutes 273 . 123 provides for a reassess-
ment for , the. pur.poses of a special. tax credit upon application to
the Governor of the. State of Minnesota and the Executive Council.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED_, by .the St. Anthony City Council that
the City of St. Anthony does hereby request that the homestead property
damage from the storm of April 26 , 1984 , be reassessed for the pur-
pose of . special tax credit .for property damaged by a disaster under
provisions of Minnesota State Statutes 273. 123 .
