RESOLUTION 84-048
A RESOLUTION ON THE NOISE IMPACT OF THE AIRPORT
AND REPRESENTATION ON THE METROPOLITAVAIRCRAFT SOUND ABATEMENT
COUNCIL ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Aircraft Sound Abatement Council (MASAC) exists to
discuss and attempt to resolve concerns and problems relating to the noise
impact of the airport on the surrounding community; and
WHEREAS, concerns have been expressed by St. Anthony residents relating to noise
in our community due-to airport take off and landing procedures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
that Mr. Douglas Koehntop is hereby appointed to represent St. Anthony at
meetings of the MASAC recognizing that the by-laws do' not allow St. Anthony to
be a voting member, but that our concerns and imput are welcomed by the airport
administration.
