A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT,
CITY OF ST. ANTHONY AND TEAMSTERS LOCAL 320
BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Manager
to execute the Amendment to the Agreement, City of St. Anthony and Teamsters
Local 320 on behalf of the City of St. Anthony.

AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, CITY OF ST. ANTHONY AND TEAMSTERS LOCAL 320
Dated January 22, 1985
It is agreed between the parties to amend the above contract in the following
respects for the purposes of adjusting the effects of the application of the
Federal Fair Labor Standards Act; i .e. , as the same relates to the payment of
overtime over an average fifty-three (_53) hour week and yet maintaining the
existing $2,232.00 per month top;,firefighter's salary.
1 . Page 12, Article XXIV. Amend by deleting "fifty-six (56) " and inserting in
lieu thereof "fi_ftY-three (53)" .
2. Amend Article XII, Salaries (Monthly) , by ;replacing the _existing language
with the following:
The work schedule for all positions covered by this agreement shall average
fifty-six hours per week, three hours of which is compensated at one and one-half
(_1-1/2) times the hourly rate in accordance with the Federal Fair Labor
Standards Act. Based upon the foregoing, monthly salary for firefighter and
capta Wshall be as follows:
Firefighter 1985 Hourly Rate
• After three years $2,232 (.100%) $8.96
After two years $2,176 (.97.5%) $8.74
After one year $2,120 (,95%) $8.51
After six months $2,065 (.92.5%) $8.29
Start $2,009. (.90%) $8.06
Captain $2,332 $9.36
Firefighters working out of classification (Captain) will receive Five
Dollars ($5.00) additional per shift where such out of classification duties
exceed eight hours of a shift. Accrued pay for such work will be made
annually.
This Amendment shall be effective the day of 1985.
