RESOLUTION 86-027
A RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL SUPPORT FOR THE
NOMINATION OF CLARENCE RANALLO TO THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES
WHEREAS, Councilmember Clarence Ranallo has faithfully and dutifully served
as an active member on numerous League of Minnesota Cities, including Chairman
of the Conference Planning Committee; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Ranallo has also given fully of his time to his
community as Councilmember, Mayor Pro Tem, and officer of the St. Anthony
Housing and Redevelopment Authority for nearly a decade; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the St. Anthony City Council , Councilmember
Ranallo would well represent all member cities of the League of Minnesota
Cities with an intelligent and impartial outlook and fresh perspective.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of St. Anthony Village
• that we do hereby wholeheartedly and enthusiastically support and endorse
the candidacy of Clarence Ranallo as a member of the Board of Directors of
the League of Minnesota Cities and urge the nominating committee to give
his candidacy the highest consideration.
