A RESOLUTION REQUIRING INCLUSION OF STONEHOUSE
RESTAURANT LESSEE ON THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
LIQUOR LIABILITY POLICY
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony desires to enter into a
lease agreement with an individual or corporation for the
purpose of operating a restaurant facility in conjunction
with the Stonehouse Municipal On-Sale establishment; and
WHEREAS, restaurant employees may be serving liquor and other
beverages on behalf of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of St. Anthony that it shall be a requirement that as
• long as said lease agreement remains in effect, the lessee
shall be named as an additional insured on the City' s liquor
liability insurance policy.

Dear Dave:
Transcontinental Insuance Company has indicated that they do
not name additional insured's on their policies unless the
City were to pass an ordinance requiring this to be done.
They indicated that as long as the lease agreement remains
in effect and the ordinance requires Manning's Cafe, Inc. to
be named on the liquor liability policy, they would have to
comply with the city ordinance.
Please let me know as soon as possible when you pass the
• ordinance so we can request the additional insured endorse-
ment from Transcontinental Insurance Company. Thanks!
