A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR YEAR XIV
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY .DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING ITS SUBMITTAL
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony through execution of a Joint
Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County is a cooperating unit
in the Urban County Community Development Block Grant Program.
WHEREAS, the City has developed a proposal for the use of Urban
.Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to it; and
WHEREAS, the following proposed. use of 'Community Development .
Block Grant funds was developed consistent with program rules.
Kenzie Terrace Pedestrian Signal Project $15,000
Kenzie Terrace Sidewalk Project $ 6 ,442
Senior Citizens Social Programs $ 3 ,780
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of St. Anthony approves the
proposed„ use. of Year XIV Urban Hennepin County Community Develop-
ment Block Grant funds and authorizes submittal of the proposal
to Hennepin County for consideration by the Citizenry Advisory
Committee and for inclusion of the Year XIV Urban Hennepin County
Community Development Block Grant Statement of Objectives and
Projected Use of Funds.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
YEAR XIV ( 1988) URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY
CDBG PROGRAM
Notice is hereby given that Hennepin County and the Planning
Commission of the City of St. Anthony, pursuant to Title I of
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 , as amended,
are sponsoring a public hearing on March 15 , 1988 , at 7: 35 P.M. ,
at 3301 Silver Lake Road N.E. ( in the Council Chambers) to
obtain the views of citizens on local and Urban County housing
and community development needs, Urban County Statement of
Objectives and the City of St. Anthony' s proposed use of its
Year XIV Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant
planning allocation of $25 , 22.2 .
The City of St. Anthony is proposing to fund the following
activities, with Year XIV Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds
starting on or about July 1 , 1988 .
Activity Budget
Kenzie Terrace Pedestrian Signal Project $15 ,000
Senior Citizens Program $ 3 ,780
Kenzie Terrace Sidewalk or Ordinance $ 6 , 442

The public hearing is being held in accord with the Urban
Hennepin County Joint Cooperation Agreement pursuant to MS
471 . 59 .
