CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
BUDGET WORKSHOP
September 15 , 1981
The meeting was called to order .by Mayor Haik at 5 :20 P.M..
Present for roll call : Haik, Sundland, Ranallo, Letourneau, and
Marks .
Also present: David Childs, City Manager; Larry- Hamer, Public Works
Director; Donald Hickerson, Police Chief; and Carol
Johnson, Clerk/Treasurer.
Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Sundland to
direct the City Manager to prepare a resolution indicating St. Anthony's
opposition to service cutbacks for the St. Anthony Library.
Motion carried unanimously.
Police Chief Hickersonpresented the Police Department's 1982 budget
followed by the Clerk/Treasurer's budget presentation for the Finance
.Department.
No changes were made at this time.
• The dinner for the new City Manager and his wife to be given by the
Mayor and. Councilmen .will beat the Anchorage , Monday, September 21st,
at 7 :00 P.M.
The Council approved the recommendations by the Public Works Director
to prepare specifications for the purchase of a 1977 Model 75 , or
equal, with backhoe.
Motion ..by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Marks to
adjourn the -meeting at 7 : 15 P.M.
Motion carried unanimously.
