PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under the Minnesota Statutes, that the Planning Commission will hold a
regular meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at 7.00 pm at the City Council Chambers, 3301 Silver Lake
Road,Saint Anthony,Minnesota.
NOTE: The Planning Commission has received the staff reports and recommendations,plus
supporting documentation from the applicant, through stafffor all items on this agenda. This
information was distributed prior to the meeting date. Individual Commissioners and staff
also visit the application sites during the week prior to meetings. As a result of this
preparation, items which appear to be routine will typically be handled very quickly, and
discussion on disputed or questionable items can begin from a position of general
understanding of the issues.

3. City Council's April 11, 2000 regular meeting minutes. No action required.
4. Parks Commission's May 1, 2000 regular meeting minutes. No action required.

IV. REQUESTS FOR POSTPONEMENTS OR WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATIONS
1. WITHDRAWAL: Letter withdrawing Hillcrest Development's request for zoning map
• change and zoning code amendment. Motion to accept. .

1. PUBLIC HEARING. Ordinance #2000-006 relating to zoning and planned unit
developments; amending section 1655 of the St:Anthony Code of Ordinances in its entirety.
Action required.

1. CONCEPT REVIEW. 4004 Fordham Drive lot width and lot area variance request.
No action required.
2. CONCEPT REVIEW. AT&T Wireless to request Conditional Use Permit for 75 ft.
monopole tower at 280137"'Ave.NE,property zoned LI. No action required.
3. APPLICATION CONFERENCE AND SKETCHPLAN. Staff, Planning Consultant, and
Commission to hold/hear Hillcrest Developments "Application Conference" and "Sketch
Plan"for the redevelopment of the Apache Plaza. No action required.
4. REPORTS. Livable Communities Fund Application/Status Report. John Shardlow of DSU.
No action required.
• VIII. CONTINUED BUSINESS
1. Update on RCWD's permit #96.11 violation for Apache Plaza/Silver Lake Center Storm
Water Management Plan. Letter from RCWD to Larry McCabe, Ste. Marie Co., dated April
25, 2000 requesting a"corrective action plan." No action required.
IX. COMMISSION INPUT
1. ACTION ITEM. Commission to review proposed amendment to zoning ordinance requiring
a minimum of three(3) acres for a Planned Unit Development. Commission to provide input
and recommendations. Input requested.
