MINUTES. OF PLANNING BAARD. MEETING
April 25, 1.962
The! mee:ting was attended by -N. Cavanagh, A. Skovran, and R. Dougherty.

Mr. Saliterman appeared to discuss; revisions; in the proposed layout
which had been suggested by the Planning Board to his: archite.ct at the. pre—
viou& meeting (see minutes: of Rpril. 16, 1962). Because of -a loss of about
100 parking spaces in the main parking area, Mr. Saliterman felt that the
suggestion was not feasible. He agreed to revise the entrance to the cen-
ter from Kenzie Terrace to eliminate the. sharp corners , to provide a 30
f:oot .aisle along the easterly edge of the parking lot, to eliminate park-
ing spaces near the entrance , and to permit. only one way traffic- into the
parking lot on Lowry Ave. at the weste."rly entrance-.
A motion was made by A. Skovran that the Planning Board recommend
approval of the proposed development subject to the folllwing considera-
tions:
1 . The) building be finished in brick except at the end where future.
expansion will be made.
2.. Previous recommendation for landscaping along Lowry Ave. would be
followed (.see minutes of April 16, 1962)
3. Recommendations of Norbert Mayer, Village Maintenance: Supervisor,
be complied with (see! minutes of March 26, 1962)
Motion„seconded by N. Cavanagh and passed unanimously.
Meeting was adjourned at 11 :00 P.M.
